At Adelaide Target Shooters Club we have Accredited Firearm Safety Training Instructors who conduct regular approved courses for those wanting to qualify for a new Firearms Licence A1 and/or B1 (Shooting Club), and also for existing shooters who just need to upgrade their current Firearms Licence to add Category 1 (Shooting Club). ‘Firearms Licence Training’ is held on most Club shoot days, starting about 10am. Check our Calendar for all available days before pre booking.

The application process can appear complex and it is important that you tick the correct boxes for your requirements. Therefore don’t hesitate to contact us and we will happily assist with any questions and guidance.

To qualify for a new Firearms Licence A1 and/or B1 you must first obtain SAPOL approval using form PD303. We are not able to provide any training until you receive your ‘SAPOL Approval To Undertake Club Training Letter’.
